A course grouping option will be available as an additional feature should an educator choose to use it.
The advantages of this method as opposed to a separate Course Portal are:
1. | Developing and maintaining one portal is more efficient and cost-effective |
2. | Having one system with an optional feature is less confusing for customers than choosing between two separate portal systems |
3. | Schools will have the flexibility of trying a course grouping without completely converting to that process |
4. | Schools can have the flexibility of certain educators using course grouping and others not grouping |
5. | CAMs and/or sales reps will not have to set up courses because products are not tied to courses in the way MEDS formerly did it |
6. | Because there is only one portal, the system will be less confusing for students when they first start using it |
